ICoN - Italian Culture on the Net - is a Consortium of Italian Universities whose mission is the promotion and diffusion of Italian culture and the image of Italy worldwide, using telematic media.nSince 2001, ICoN Italian Culture on the Net has provided a degree program in Italian language and culture for citizens living outside Italy. Examinations are taken at arranged boards all over the world and students enrolled live on all five continents. On March 2008, ICoN issued a Master's program in technical and scientific translation for translators into Italian living outside Italy. Domains included are: law, economics, engineering, computing and localization, bio-medicine and pharmaceutical sciences.
