Michael Everson has long been fascinated with the writing systems of the world and in typography which can represent the world's languages accurately and beautifully. Through Evertype he endeavors to make high-quality fonts available and offer high-quality typesetting services as well. Michael began working with the Universal Character Set as an Irish national representative to ISO/IEC JTC1/SC2/WG2 and as his interest and expertise in the area grew he became one of the principal editors and authors of the Unicode Standard.
