The Melissi Digital Classroom is probably the most advanced digital language laboratory software available world-wide. The initiative for its development came from an association of UK language centres, and it is based on their shared experience and needs. The Melissi Black Box interpreter’s training program was developed to satisfy the very exacting requirements of the European Union. Both applications run on normal, standard-specification, networked PCs and are in regular use by government departments, leading universities and schools throughout Europe and beyond.
